Jorah:

• Why I like them: Um because I want da bear dick? *cough* I mean he’s a really complex character. He’s made a lot of mistakes and done horrible things, but his reasons behind them make you think twice, you know? Some people still don’t like him, some people sympathize with his plight, some just feel sorry for him, some are rooting for him… I like how he inspires so many different opinions about his character. I’ve never really seen a character so… hm, what’s the word… morally vague? I guess? I dunno, words are hard. 
• Why I don’t: Literally the amount of friendzone jokes I’ve heard about him almost make me wish I’d never liked him so I wouldn’t have to put up with that shit in the tags. BUT ALAS, EVERY TAG HAS ITS PROBLEMS, I S’POSE.
• Favorite episode: “The Ghost of Harrenhal”
• Favorite season: Hm… I liked season 2 because they started to elaborate his love for Dany a bit more, but I’d have to say season 1 is my fave. I mean, you know… Dany’s storyline in season 2 was…. kinda shit. xD
• Favorite line: Oh god. From book or movie? For the book, I like “And I tell you truly, Daenerys, there is no man in all the world that will ever be half as true to you as me” and for the show, I like “Sometimes I look at you, and I still can’t believe you’re real.” I mean DUH. Those lines make me die ok.
• Favorite outfit: YELLOW SHIRT AND CHEST-STRAP. IT IS KNOWN.
• OTP: Dany/Jorah DUH
• Brotp: Hmm…. Tyrion/Jorah or Rhakaro/Jorah, I guess.
• Head Canon: Jorah takes Dany to Bear Island when she decides the throne is not hers by right, as it was stolen by her ancestors to begin with. They fall in love, have teh secks a lot, and live happily ever after THE END.
• Unpopular opinion: Uh… I don’t believe that Jorah deserved to be banished by Daenerys. I could go on and on about that, but maybe another time.
• A wish: That he doesn’t die, tbh. I am SO afraid of that happening
• An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: IF HE DIES, IMMA BURN DEM BOOKS, YA HEAR?
• 5 words to best describe them: ….I want the bear dick. OR, depending on whether it’s one word or two, “ENOUGH WITH THE FRIEND-ZONED JOKES.”
• My nickname for them: MAH BEAR

Richard:

• Why I like them: Initially because IAIN GLEN, later I began to like his character because he kinda brought out the worst of the Crawleys. Like it wasn’t until they met him that they began to show how awful they can be. Does that make sense? He contrasted their characters well, is what I’m trying to say…. fuck it, I don’t even know what I’m trying to say NEVER MIND SHUT UP *sobs*
• Why I don’t: Well, he IS kind of a douche. A douche that I love, but still.
• Favorite episode: Uh, I don’t really know…. whichever one he was in the most, I guess?
• Favorite season: OH YEAH BECAUSE HE WAS TOTALLY IN MORE THAN ONE SEASON. xD
• Favorite line: “I loved you, you know. More than you knew. And much, much more than you loved me.”
• Favorite outfit: Psshh, the wrong tweed, of course.
• OTP: Richard/Mary
• Brotp: Richard/fist-in-Matthew’s-face
• Head Canon: Ok, this may be too soon, but…. maybe if Matthew does indeed die, Mary could reunite with Richard, and….? I MEAN NOT THAT I WANT MATTHEW TO DIE BUT… IT’S JUST A HEADCANON, OK LEMME ALONE.
• Unpopular opinion: Liking Richard Carlisle at all seems to be an unpopular opinion
• A wish: that he comes back next season, if only for a cameo? PLEASE?
• An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: Well, I don’t want him to die, but I think there’s little danger of that, seeing’s how there’s also a small chance of him coming back. And Fellowes only seems to kill the ones everyone likes, so. 
• 5 words to best describe them: “Damn fine in a tophat”
• My nickname for them: I’m stealing Cassie’s… “Dastardly Sir Dick Douchepapers”

Now before I go any further, I should make something clear: me being a Carlisle fan, and my mother being a Matthew fan… needless to say we quarreled a bit here and there while watching season 2…. 

Anyways, we just finished the Downton Abbey season 2 Christmas Special, and as Matthew proposed to Mary, I decided to discretely take a picture of my mom’s reaction…. this is it:
